EEG Labs
The Faculty of Psychology operates three state-of-the art EEG laboratories. All of them are equipped with 64-channel DC-EEG systems to measure electrophysiological signals such as electroencephalogram (EEG), event-related potentials (ERPs), electromyogram (EMG), electrooculogram (EOG), electrocardiogram (ECG). One system is also suitable for recordings in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner, and can also be used in (“online”) combination with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Additional equipment includes a 16-channel bipolar DC psychophysiology amplifier. All laboratories include sound proof and electrically isolated recording chambers, and are located in the basement of Liebiggasse 5.
